For the majority of his childhood, Arwen lived a picture perfect life. His intelligence was incomparable to those of his town, his looks were admired by all, and his charisma brought him a multitude of opportunities many could only dream of. Growing up, Arwen developed an extremely strong relationship with fellow human Ace. Arwen and Ace were best friends and their bond was one that was truly unbreakable. However, Arwen found himself at times struck with immense jealousy of the relationship Ace and his brother had. It was something about the care and treatment Adam received from Ace that Arwen despised. Ace was the brother Arwen wished for, the brother his parents were unable to give him. After a miscarriage, Arwen’s mother Ida was unable to bring Arwen the sibling he so dearly wished for. And this was news that broke Arwen. He had for once believed that he would finally be able to recreate the relationship Adam and Ace shared. Unable to cope with the news, Arwen closed off much of his walls when he was 14. Though he was once admired by all, many had began to look down on Arwen for his sudden change of character. Struggling to make friends and create lasting relationships, Arwen found himself alone. After distancing himself from Ace for so long, Arwen realized how much he had truly meant to him. Though he wasn’t related to Ace by blood, deep within, Arwen believed he had a true brother, no matter the situation his mom had faced. Around 15 years old, Arwen sought to find Ace again and strengthen the relationship distance had weakened. After finally meeting however, Arwen was shocked to hear that the bond he once despised, was broken. Ace and Adam had reached an immense argument and both had taken their separate ways. Arwen, grateful for the surprising news promised Ace that he, unlike Adam, would never leave his side. And from 15 on, Arwen devoted his time to accompanying Ace in all the adventures he would partake in. For 3 years, Arwen joined Ace in his swordsmanship classes around the world. Unfortunately however, around Ace’s 18th birthday, he had shared with Arwen his desire to join the Holy Orenean military, a desire that Arwen didn’t share. Arwen instead had other intentions, he wanted to master the art of magic to finally be able to defend himself instead of having to rely on Ace as he had done for most of his life. Thus, the two had split and both went on their separate ways to reach their desired goals.
