As a child, Leonardo lost his brother due to a hawk thinking it was prey. His brother, Abel Belmont was taken away and lost, and Leonardo’s parents decided not to tell him until he was older. Leonardo grew up very privileged, but always found a way to connect with people. His goal was always to make people smile and laugh, even at the loss of his own dignity. Leonardo’s parents made sure that he went to church, as they worshiped the all knowing god, who created the world from the darkness of the void. A phrase from church always stuck with him. “The World is for us to be tested. It’s to test us for purity, how hard we can fight temptation, and how clean and good can our actions be.” He took that to heart, and vowed to be kind to everyone he came across. This stuck with him as he grew up on a family farm as well. He handled many animals, even taming a Renatian Mountain Hound, which only a few human groups have been able to domesticate. Once he reached the age of 19, his parents finally told him about his brother, Abel Belmont. Word has gotten around from a far away nation about a government-hating moron yelling about that went by the same name. Leonardo felt guilty not being able to make his brother happy throughout his life, so he set off to find Abel Belmont.
