Talilenniel – Half melody- comes from a mali'thill line of High Elves and was trained in the arts of the bard from a young age, being given a deep appreciation and understanding of the power of words – and likewise how to use them. His education was very well rounded, reaching a reasonable competancy in all aspects of the Elvish Maehr'sae: literature, arts, science, languages (something he enjoyed greatly and continued to study during his adulthood), except for magic. Whilst not being poor enough to need to, Talilenniel left home when reaching adulthood at the age of fifty-five to gain more experience with his craft and to gain inspiration from his travels. He did not stray far and spent most of his wandering in the taverns of the nearby towns and sometimes seeking out rumours surrounding Ancient Elvish texts as to help him improve on his previous studies. During his stays at these taverns he often encountered gifted mages who gave him great envy that he was never trained in the mystical arts, especially when one in particular used his abilities during a performance – much to his benefaction, and Talilenniel, seeing how such skills could greatly help his performances, began to seek out someone who could teach him arcane magics.
  2. As I was reading this I was constantly thinking of Japanese. The use of seed words is very similar to kanji and so many of the grammatical elements are like Japanese (word order, the affix usage is similar to Japanese tenses, the omission of subjects and objects, ‘leh acting as の and ‘ehya seeming very similar to も when used as particles), though there are certainly western infulences such as the conjugations and the ‘opative’ being like Romance’s subjunctive mood. Overall, I’m a big fan of this.
