Grich was brought up in Kal’Varoth like any ordinary mountain dwarf. his father was a blacksmith who worked long hours and looked after the family, his mother looked after local children and kept them in line. Grich’s younger days would be filled with schooling and being taught about his heritage. He was also taught about the preachings of Armakak which he did not particularly like. Grich was very skeptical about dieties, religion and creation due to him having questions no one could answer, therefore found himself alone most of the time and looked down upon. he found life hard being an outcast but kept his head up because he knew someday he would have a meaning in life. Grich went on to become a blacksmith in his fathers footsteps and marry a local dwarf called Gwendlin. he settled and was content with life, not feeling the need for answers like he did in more youthful years. His wife Gwendlin was a trader and work with people from outside the city which meant she travelled sometimes for work. Due to health issues she passed away which sent Grich into a closed off, almost self destructive state. he decided city life was not quite his thing, he gathered his belongings and headed out to find somewhere he could call his own. Now Grich manages his own farm land and has a nice small cabin he is content with, he sometimes offers his hand in towns for blacksmith service. While in towns Grich looks at job boards and listens to rumors of adventure and fortune telling himself that one day he will respond to one and go on amazing adventures. Grich reads a lot of books and passages he buy from travelling traders or shops he visits trying to understand why people follow deities.
