Born to unknown dark elf parents who, in her words, ‘ran away before I was born’, Wendy was left in the city that developed after the fall of Castle Greywynn with a woman that Wendy refers to as her Granny. It is unknown why a traditionally protective race would seemingly abandon a young baby but Granny seems to belive that her parents were two Warhawk survivors. As the young girl grew, she adapted quite well to the northern climate, working as a messenger and stablehand at her Granny’s inn. The only great occurrence of note was her encounter with a bandit who attempted to slit her throat, though he only inflicted shallow cuts, they developed in to an infection that caused Wendy to be near mute, leading her to use a notebook to communicate with others. It was here that she learned of the grand adventures of the lands to the south, listening to warriors who stayed in the inn tell her about there adventures. She began to dream of having an adventure of her own, seeing the south for herself. She knew that she was not well equipped to be in the military, she was not brave or strong, so she decided to save her coin and set off on her own at arround 30. Not too much is known about what she did in the following years, and when asked she discribes fantastical islands full of exotic animals and people, things that no one can really confirm. She now typically makes her money as an animal trainer, hunter and, oddly enough a story teller (she requires a person to dictate her writing). She roams from town to town, offering her services and always keeping a sharp ear out for a new adventure to embark on.
