Himalia Seabird Cirilei was born in Calpihate in the modern age. She was raised by her mother, Selene Cirileia, who gave her the middle name seabird, inspired by the Alabaster Seabird, whom her mother though were signs of fortune. She had not known her father, accept that he was a highlander. Her mother, a Qalasheen widow, had had a lot of influence on Himalia’s life due to her father’s absence. Her mother had thought of Himalia like a bird (eager to soar into the world, and over the seas) which is why her mother gave Himalia the middle name that she did. Himalia’s early life had few specific significant moments, but rather, her childhood as a whole shaped her as a person. Because her mother was so hard working, Himalia was eager to become useful to her at a young age. This caused her to mature fast. Himalia has an evidently strong work ethic and drive. Himalia left her house as early as 16 to begin work, and after going overseas in search of a life, she had not been in contact or able to find her mother, even after multiple trips back to her homeland of Caliphate. She later realized this was because Caliphate had dissolved. By age 18, Himalia had begun searching for some sort of work, starting in Kaedrin, although she moved out of Kaedrin because of the high concentration of Canonism and militarism. At the time, Himalia had been rather pacifistic and followed the teachings of the Druidic Order than that of the teachings from the Canonistic Church. Himalia’s current life story has yet to happen, although she is 19 years old. She currently is in search of a job and is traveling the different kingdoms. Her end goal is to settle down to work and provide for a family, which is a dream inspired by her now missing mother, who had wanted nothing more for Himalia than stability. This tends to be a major flaw of Himalia’s personality- she prioritizes a dull and work oriented life for the sake of her mother’s wishes for her, although she knows this is not truly what she wants in life.
