When Charlie was 3, his father was killed in a carriage accident, at the fault of a drunk driver. Charlie’s mom died of a sickness plaguing his village when he was 6, leaving him parentless. He grew up to find out what happened to them. He then set out a journey to avenge both of them. He’s been searching for the man who left his mother a widow, and has slowly been trying to cure diseases around the kingdom. Due to his hunt for the man, he has mastered swordsmanship, but sometimes it gets to his head.
Additionally, he was raised in a forest far from the Kingdom’s castle. Without parents, he wasn’t able to get a good education, meaning that he has little knowledge about things other than health and diseases.
When Charlie was 8, he nearly drowned in a river after falling in. This has left him cautious about water and ships.
