He was born into a rich family. He lived in the life of luxury for the beginning of his life. His only friend was his sister. When he was 120, he left to go out on his own. He went on many adventures, but kept little friends. Jasher developed skills in lock-picking and became a proficient archer. He helped fight in the battle of the 5 armies, but didn’t stick around in the end. When visiting some forest elves, he witnessed Bilbo Baggins rescue his friends on many occasions. He was taught history in many schools, and even learned Dwarvish, Sylvan, and Common along with Elvish. He often would sneak away to practice archery and knife combat with some of the older elves. His distrusting nature led to him keeping away from many people, choosing to be a loner.
