Devin Smith was born in Kaedrin. The son of a local shop owner, he learned the ways of finance fast and by age 19 he had started some of his own small ventures, his father had always been a decent man never taking advantage of his customers but Devin though opposite and has learned his way in the world of conning people into new ventures of his own. He currently runs a small store front in Kaedrin trading regular goods here and there, this is his main source of income. His other source would come from several establish business models he has with some other characters around Kaedrin. Darin also dabbles in the art of carpentry being taught by his uncle from an early age, he would work with his uncle when things were becoming slow at his father’s shop during his youth. He still takes up small jobs for the townspeople of Kaedrin more of a work of hobby than a work of profit. He often does roof reconstructions after heavy storms hit the walls of Kaedrin. From a young age Devin was best mates with his pet Renatian Mountain Hound, his dad had brought it home one evening when coming back from establishing a deal with a new trade partner in a different land. The Hound was in a way the shops mascot for several years until Devin inherited the shop and moved him and his hound into his own abode. He hopes one day to construct a house that is the culmination of his artful carpentry skills from all of his wealth he has accumulated from his business ventures.
