Begginings
Malerion began in the Vyshan family, in the great Kingdom of Renelia. His father was a proud soldier and his mother a merchant. Although a lot of dark elves prefer swords to knowledge, but Malerion was always a studious one, reading books while others trained. His father obligated him to train with swords, telling him that he should be able to protect himself if needed. The Vyshans, however, didn't worship or recognize Luara as a deity like some dark elves did, rather they saw her as a deceiver who tricked Veluluai into cursing her own people.
The dark elf had almost no friends in Renelia, as most elves found him annoying or weird. He would be at his home studying most of the time. His only friend while in Renelia was Dariel, his brother.
Malerion was 48 when the accident that would change his life happened. He was training with Dariel, using a bow and trying to hit Dariel’s shield. This time he missed, hitting a nearby Luara statue. He was first worried about the priests and Luara’s worshippers, not knowing that something worse was coming for him. Luara cursed Malerion, making his family disappear to an unknown location. This, coupled with the fact that a lot of dark elves hated him due to the accident, made him leave the Kingdom of Renelia.
Malerion was looking for a new life, for he knew he had no home now. He's roaming through Arcas trying to find his family, knowing that they may be dead or worse, for he had read about Azul's curse and what Luara is capable of.
