Joakim was raised in Morsgrad his whole life. His parents from a young age raised him in the Red Faith where he would often read various books about the house on the faith. This obsession with reading is where Joakim found his love for books and knowledge. The paragon he chose to follow was Myr “The Wordsmith” due to his virtues in storytelling and lore. He often swayed closer to rationalism, though he was still a devout member of the faith. He never received a proper education, often he obtained his knowledge from the wealth of books his parents brought back from various adventures. When his parents were gone Joakim would wander the city with other children, learning the back alleys and secret entrances littered throughout the city. He would frequent the public library where he would read books, and look at historical documents. Now he works as a part time tutor for some of the children throughout the city helping with reading and math.
