Zeta’Rul was born in the high northern peaks, where he was raised by his own people. His Fathers name was Ze’Rosh, and his mothers name was Atris. Both of Zeta’Rul’s parents are soldiers, as is the way of the Snow Elves. Yet, unlike most Snow Elves of The Princedom of Fenn, this certain group of snow elves followed a different religion than the standard Wyrvun. Though they also believed in the Wyrvun, this certain tight-knit group of people, called Cyclists, believed in the Xhri’ga. These so called “Xhri’ga” where an ancient group of beings with extraordinary power, that created all living things, in a cycle of 4, with many different subspecies. This cycle would keep all races in check, and keep them from destroying one another. Without one of these races, The balance would tip, and all balance in the world would be gone. Most people of the tribe knew this to not be true, and they knew that Wyrvun was the true religion. These Xhriga where more of an inspiration to them, or what you would call “Myths” At the young age of 15, he was captured by a northern human expedition, where he received the first scar above his left eye. He was held captive for 6 months, when he was freed by a human that goes by the name Raynor. When Zeta’Rul insisted that Raynor take him back to his town in the north, Raynor informed him of his towns destruction. Zeta’Rul, stricken by grief, vowed vengeance on the Expedition, if he ever found them again. Raynor continued to raise and train Zeta’Rul with a sword and bow, Until Zeta’Rul was 25. At this time, Zeta’Rul set off to find his people, and his parents, if they still lived. Three days before his 30th birthday, Zeta’Rul heard Rustling in the bushes. “Bandits” he thought to himself, as he drew his bow calmly and quietly. He drew his bow, and took aim at the source of noise, and fired. The projectile struck his target, right as he emerged from the bush. It was Raynor. Zeta’Rul rushed to his side, but the damage was already done. Raynor was gone within minutes. After grieving for his lost teacher, Zeta’Rul searched Raynors body for answers, and he found it. A note, pertaining to Zeta’Ruls parents whereabouts. Overwhelmed with both excitement and grief, Zeta’Rul burned Raynor’s body, while he stood vigil until dawn the next day. Zeta’Rul then set off to where his parents were said to be. When Zeta’Rul reached his destination, he was overwhelmed with both joy and excitement at the site of his parents home. But when he knocked on the door, only his father answered. Though he did not recognize him at first, his father recognized him after an explanation. It turns out, Zeta’Rul’s mom died giving birth to his brother, Ar’gon. Zeta’Rul vowed to teach Ar’gon the way of the sword and bow, the same way that Raynor taught him. As the years passed, Zeta’Rul finally reached adulthood at the age of 50, while his brother was now 24. They had both grown to be very formidable with both the sword and bow, but Ar’gon was not yet as accomplished as Zeta’Rul. This was when Zeta’Rul caught wind that a local village was under attack from the former Human Expedition that had taken him when he was so young. Zeta’Rul, remembering his vow, rushed to the town as quickly as possible. But, to Zeta’Rul’s dismay, he found out that Ar’gon was following him. But, as unfortunate as it was, Ar’Gon did not listen to his brother and master. When Zeta’Rul made it to the town, the smell of burning wood was overwhelming, and the screams of fearful women and children filled the air. Drawn to the sounds of sword on sword combat, Zeta’Rul rushed to the scene. There, in the clearing, he saw Ar’Gon fighting off two full grown human soldiers. Ar’Gon, surprised to hear the voice of his brother, turned his head, which was a crucial mistake. One of the swordsmen, seeing the opening, sliced open Ar’Gons left leg. He screamed and dropped his sword as the agony of the pain hit him. When Zeta’Rul saw this, he rushed into battle, quickly striking the two swordsmen down. Zeta’Rul then threw his brother up over his shoulder, and began to run back to their fathers house. Once they got there, it was obvious Zeta’Rul couldn’t save Ar’Gon by himself. Suddenly, the door bursts open, and a powerful voice fills the room. “Who’s there?” Zeta’Rul exclaims as he draws his sword. A desperate Zeta’Rul hoists Ar’Gon over his shoulder again, and runs as fast as he can to the doctor’s house where he bursts through the door, splintering wood everywhere. The doctor, startled, jumps up from behind his desk. After a second of thought, the doctor says Zeta’Rul sets his brother down carefully on to the table, carefully resting his head on a pillow. Two hours later, the doctor comes out of the surgery room. Zeta’Rul follows the doctor to the table, where Ar’Gon was laying. Ar’Gon’s wound was closed up, but his skin was clammy and cold, and he was taking short, uneven breaths. (This is referring to him being in shock. NOT magic). Zeta’Rul looks at his brother, and quietly asks, Zeta’Rul, barely able to see straight, thanked the doctor, and carried his brother back to the cabin, and rested Ar’Gon gently in his bed. Thirteen years later, Zeta’Rul is still taking care of his brother, and anxiously waits for his brother to wake from his coma. To provide for his father, and himself, he does many different odd jobs for dwarfs, humans, Orcs, and elves alike. Anything from fighting in wars to delivering messages, too guarding a castle. No job is too small for Zeta’Rul, as he waits for his brother to come out of his extended sleep.
