Vagnr

Vagnr was a hybrid born between a human male and a high elf woman who had an affair while traveling. This caused massive issues for his mother within the high elf society as he was looked down upon as a disgrace of being an impure highelf. While inheriting his mother’s elven facial features and piercing emerald eyes, he was a carbon copy of his father and inherited his fathers dark auburn hair. His mother’s family disowned their own daughter and grandchild and forced to leave her homeland of Haelun'or. Vagnr’s mother settled in the Kingdom of Curon due to its welcoming environment towards all races. There Vagnr lived in poverty as his mother struggled to find a steady income. Vagnr learned to look out for himself by learning hand-to-hand and armed combat as a result of being targeted by other townsfolk when attempting to steal food for his family. As a child, Vagnr had little friends except this human girl named Auriel. However, Auriel’s family decided to leave the Kingdom of Curon to settle in Oren as her father was aspiring to serve within their militaristic center of Helena. Unfortunately, Vagnr’s mother contracted a disease just after the departure of Auriel and passed away leaving Vagnr utterly alone. From there Vagnr lived the life of a thief and street brawler eventually gaining enough money for himself. This caused him to develop a silver tongue to talk his way out of trouble, or just fight his way out. He never forgot Auriel and wished to reconnect with her in Helena. After investing in an ornamental green silk cloak with gold highlights, Vagnr ventures out for the Imperial City of Helena.
