While she was little her family owned and ran a tavern called The Onyxbrew. She was a mixed dwarf, with her father being a mountain dwarf and her mother being a forest dwarf, as well as a younger brother called Nabrick. But when her father died due an illness, her mother took the both of them to the Under-Realm of Urguan and opened up a shop there. Soon however, her brother set off to serve the dwarven armies during the three-month war, which she also served in. During her time in the combat she found her passion in the fire of combat, eagerly hoarding trophies from those she slew.
When they came back they stayed with their mother and helped her in running the shop, but Tasmara still felt the call of war deep inside of her. Growing restless, she set out on adventure to continue to grow in her combat prowess. When she had left Atandt Irongrinder was still king, though growing restless with the position. In her time outside the dwarven capital she worked as a mercenary, fighting eagerly in each battle. She also found herself falling in love with a highlander human who she worked closely with during her time as bounty hunter. With the loss of her lover, she has made her way back to the dwarven capital in order to reconnect with her dwarven roots.
