Born to peasants in Haense , the birthplace of his mother, Fenn being the birthplace of his father. As a child of the age of 5-6 Theus helped his father in the little ways he could, learning to help harvest the crops he grew. He became a very strong boy who enjoyed the labor he did, not fully understanding the hardships his parents faced under the restrictions of his families social class. His parents were both very emotionally unattached, not in a purposeful way, but both being quiet people themselves, never socialized with anyone, not even their only son. The only real moment he ever saw anyone happy was when his father made him a bow for his 14th birthday. It was really the only time he saw his father, or anyone for that matter, smile. Theus, as he grew older, began to resent the crop harvesting he did for his father, he saw no meaning in the work, personally he preferred hunting a lot more. They barely got any of the food they harvested, so why did they do it? At the age of 18 Theus had a falling out with his parents, and after reading a letter meant for his father, received from one of his father’s old friends talking about how the new prince was much better than the old insane one he left. Fleeing his parents and home, leaving it all behind to hopefully find meaning in The Princedom of Fenn.
