  1. "Of all the ridiculous..." The Bard rolls his eyes as he reads over this missive, the halo above his head dimming and flickering lightly. "A city of bards, a city of peace, a city of gentle repose! None here have been swilling with the darkspawn, and none further have any intention of aligning themselves with this belligerent 'Harrower' fellow." A scoff can be heard before the missive is tossed into the flames. "Impressive, though... that Celia'nor would be most willing to set aside its own relations to the darkness in order to point the gnarled, curled finger at us. Impressive, but pathetic."
  2. Only a bard could do this
  3. Spirit Type: Lesser (Greater: Aztran) Spirit Name: Glarzdan, The Spirit of Sunrays Spirit Totem: An eight-pointed, circular star Spirit Appearance: A man entirely made out of moving light, with a large head that swirls in an orange-hue. Alignment: Neutral Good Discovery: Found on a Spirit Walk by Godwin Maiheiuh and Sera Gylldene. Discovered during an attempt to commune with Aztran
  4. A lonesome, handsome, cherished bard by the name of Godwin Maiheiuh takes up the missive in hand after finding it clinging to life at a nearby pond. A quick work of straightening and the paper is read without much difficulty. Within the echoing halls of the Amethyst Amphitheater, laughter can be heard. Cackling, snorting, uproarious laughter... those who pass by may be disturbed by such a raucous and brazen display of nervousness. "I theorized once..." The bard squeaks out between fits of giggling, "But perhaps love is blind..." A murmurous chuckle can be heard pinging off the nearby amethyst crystals that line the halls of the amphitheater... creating small murmurs of laughter themselves. "O' Overlord... my Overlord... in the dark I cannot be..."
  5. Godwin is perturbed. Poppiya was kind... very kind. Every time he had spoken to her, which amounted to thrice, he left feeling better about himself. Even when questioned about her circumstances, she approach such issues with aplomb. She was one of the few people in the world that was more than willing to give him a chance when he was young and foolhardy. He only wishes that she had done the same for herself.
  6. Jaroslaw sighs as he reads the missive... his feeble mind hoping to grasp at this... he will search.
  7. A shift in the winds is felt as a proud bard smiles, "Huh..." He hums as a genuine smile plants itself on his face...
  8. The human who was present was none other than Godwin, the Poet of Portoregne, and the Maehr's favourite student (singular). The emotions he felt after the encounter with such a figure... would touch his soul in a way most profound. Never once had he felt like he had such purpose, and the purpose that this gave him was chief-paramount in his mind. Upon exiting the scene, the feelings of doubt slowly crossed over his mind. "Was he ready? Was he worthy? Did any of this make sense?" Questions clearly for someone of greater mind and soul, but for now there was work to be done. He quickly sent out a missive to the dark elf whom had accompanied him, preparations were needing to be made. Not only that but, upon returning home from his short jaunt in a realm of material immaterialness, he would be delighted to know that he event would be state-sponsored. He just needed to contact everyone he could as Brimztra's festival would shortly take place. A champion was quickly burgeoning.
  9. Godwin Almireson looks upon the missive, "Oh... oh... that's what that place was..."
  10. Godwin Almireson smiles as he looks out his window, "Finally... it's always hard watching the near-dead cling to life."
  11. Godwin delights with a broad smile on his face! His ancestry, glistening and independent! He works immediately on sending a missive to both the Sheikh and Sayyid about any way he can possibly help get this off the ground!
  12. Godwin smiles as he reads the letter... every bit of information warms a different part of his soul. "Brimztra bless us all, indeed . . ."
  13. Godwin Almireson, having been present for the encounter which took place, shakes his head. "Damn Veletz! Nowhere is safe with these monsters galivanting around." He then strums a sad tune on his violin.
  14. Godwin Almireson, who had recently become affiliated with Princess Mischa's government body, is torn. He never got to speak with her, never got to meet her, but he was excited to work alongside her.
  15. The Jarosłorð An Essay Detailing a Duality with the Other Faith _______________________________________________________________________________________________ [!] Found in libraries, advertised in the streets, and left at a great many doors is the Jarosłorð. A work penned by Father Almire. Chapter One: Trekking As I sit atop the great steps towards the Temple of the Red Faith, I find myself pitted. And when I say this, I mean there is a vast ocean-like gap inside of my spirit, inside of my soul. I recognize the dangers of my actions and the possibility of excommunication. This does not mean that I am unwilling to do this, for I believe it was GOD, in all his Righteousness, who presented me with this concept and this passion. I felt compelled to travel to each of the lands of our planetary realm. From Freeport to Haense, every which way I travelled. Traversing these realms I met with many curious people. It was on my travels that I met Haense Monsignor who set me on the path of righteousness which led me to my priestly occupation. On my journeys, most of which were safeguarded by Saint Johannes of Aesculus, I came upon the ancient lands of the North; Norland. Immediately, I was immediately stricken by the vast whiteness and beauty of this Great Land of “Sin”. Each of the many inhabitants of this land, according to our scriptures, texts and scrolls, would find themselves living in the Void for all of eternity. To enter a land and believe this, is a frightening endeavor. One which I wholly expected to not survive. Upon entering the City of Elysium, I met a masked man who showed me the way to Varhelm. In this capital city, I found a frightening scene before me. A tree, so large and impressive, set ablaze. The Ashwood, is what these farfolk call this tree. A right name, if one were to ask me my thoughts on it. Upon entering the roots of this tree I immediately felt a presence. An indescribable feeling of understanding washed over me as I looked on at the work and craftsmanship of these Northmen. I knew then why I was compelled to travel to this land of the North. Soon thereafter, the Masked Man took me to their Temple. It is within this temple that I was given a proper chance to fulfill a portion of my tasks which were granted to me by the Lord. To understand our North-ly neighbor and hear his words and understand his world. Chapter Two: Findings In an attempt to understand the Northman and his Red Faith I went on the hunt to pursue all the written findings I could. I read tome after tome. Hours came and went… days had begun to go by. Food was getting harder and harder to come by. I began to feel nourished by the unadulterated words of Faith and Belief. There were some tomes and works, so old and dusted, that the language barrier seemed to grow with each new passage. The beloved works of authors Grigori Ruslanovych, Arthas and the Brothers Faretto were few and far between. Scrounging for more and more forced me to read the unreadable. I believe that along the way I learned the words of the Ancient Norlanders and could possibly pen works in their tongue. It is with great pride and greater joy that I was able to not only find works that described the behaviors and stories of the Norlandic Paragon Pantheon, but I was able to find works that beautifully illustrated the culture of the Norlandic peoples and their beginnings. Unlike the Orenian population, the Norlandic population is quite homogenous. We may be disgusted or confused by this fact but it is fact nonetheless. And it is with this homogenous culture that there is a proper distinction made between our two peoples. Their faith is not loose, fluid or ill-defined, it is rigid and engrained. Their culture and their identity is attached completely to their religion. Where we Orenians and Canonists may feel the ghostly whispers and hollow touches of Horen and Oswyn, those of the Red Faith can hear Thoromir’s voice akin to a great thunderous boom. The emotions attached to the Northman’s Faith is so impressive and strong that it aids in policy decision making. By decree, those who would operate as foreign-fath missionaries are no longer permitted into the great oaken city of Varhelm. I myself, having slept on the steps towards the Temple and set food in the city numerous times, have yet to pay dues to the Norlandic Kingdom. If asked to do so, I will without fuss. Chapter Three: Realizations It was when I read the texts of the literary greats of Norland that I came upon some serious and frankly disturbing realizations. The similarities between the two faiths are just as, if not more shocking, than the differences between the two. The Gods, Paragons and Anticipations of the Red Faith seem to compare fairly well with the Lord and Venerated Saints of the Church of the Canon. I have drafted a chart that I made in order to better illustrate my findings thusly; It is with neither heavy heart nor sour feelings that I share this chart which depicts the similarities of our two faiths. There are many more comparisons that can be drawn, like the similarities between Saint Henry Otto of Alban and Uther Grimlee. Or Saint Johannes of Aesculus and Tyr. I found these to be a bit reaching, however and did not include them for the sake of honesty. To argue against the certainly incoming attack on my character for comparing Saints to Paragons, I must insist to you that if you are arguing from the perspective of a Canonist, these entities are not venerated by you and therefore should not be seen as thus. And I must also insist to you that if you are arguing from the perspective of a Red Faith Fanatic, these entities are not Paragons nor Keepers to you and therefore should not be seen as thus. I see no Saint as a God, I venerate them with dignity and honor and stand proud to have Saint Harald as my Patron. I see no Paragon or Anticipation, not even the All-Father as a deity to be worshipped nor an entity to be venerated. I stand proud to have Godani as my protector and life-giver. Chapter Four: Solutions I am unaware whether or not the Red Faith or the Church of the Canon will be able to come together and live in harmony. I am, however, certain that the able-bodied and right-minded individuals who follow these faiths will be able to come together to see that there is great wisdom to be drawn from both sides and a mutual exchange and acceptance of these ideas will bring forth a new revelation to us all. If the day were to arise where High Keeper and High Pontiff were able to sit down, together, and discuss over tea and biscuits a way to keep hostilities non-existent and persecutions at minimum. Having spoken to both the High Pontiff and High Keeper, I know this would be a fruitful discussion.

  17. “I am the Lord God without peer” Virtue 1:3 As an omnipotent being, God is without equal. He is the end and the beginning. The entity that encompasses all. The King of all that is and all that can be. Yet, we as human beings and members of mankind neglect this truth. There are still those of which, who would persecute the word of God and discount it as falsehood. To state that this absolute is fraudulent is to wrap drape around the eyes of your people and blind your children. As man, we are unable to identify and locate the proper terminology that would be used to find and identify the peerlessness of our God. For there is no entity, other than He, who is worthy of such singleness. We have not one thing in our lives, apart from He, that embodies this oneness. And to imagine that realm of possibility, of truth uniqueness, is a vaguened impossibility. With any true shred of understanding of the uniqueness of God would be to become closer to God. To be the Sinless Father, to be the Creator and the Evil Deterrent, He is truly great. To pray on his singleness is to pray to his omnipotence. The speech in which this thesis is written, would confuse most. It confuses I, the penman, because it is on a subject that not one being can fully understand. So bare with the fact that I am working with thinkings and concepts that cannot be grasped by mere mortal men. Those who have read the scriptures, those who have heard the preachings, understand the preachings and those themselves who preach understand that the Lord, God, is peerless. Among all entities and all beings He alone stands without equal, he alone is venerated and hailed. To decry this fact and deny its validity is to commit heresy and blasphemy, to state without care or concern with your words is a hardship. To love God, is to accept his singularity. He is the whole and the piece, the with and without. I have long pondered the concept of God’s own peerlessness and to say that it is a simple topic is to utter arrogance and falsehoods. God’s realm is not one of ease. His being is complex and fluid. A state of constant motion and change is that which God is encompassing. With each passing day, with each step of the way, with every movement and every standstill, God is there, He is involved. Have you ever thought to understand uniqueness? To quantify it? To do such deeds would be to count every grain of sand, to read every poem, to see every site. There is nothing as unique and as one-ly as God almighty. To be without peer is to be equal to God. And to be equal to God is a feat of impossibility. God’s oneness and singularity is something to awe and be inspired by. As God, He is without peer and to be without peer is to be the most unique entity and being in existence. To be without peer is to be the one true God. The King of All-That-Is. The scrolls have told us exactly thirty times that God is a singularity without peer. He is omnipotent. When mankind is able to understand the importance and pay penance to the gravity of God’s resilience and oneness, then mankind will be able to bask in his presence in a more proper way. Edwyn Marcoul was born in the winter months in years past near Pestilles. His family was not one of great note. His father was a relatively prosperous farmer who operated a butcher shop in his local town. In his youth Edwyn, nicknamed Ned, was often noted for doing one of two things; reading or training. Training in what, one might ask, well training in the art of swordsmanship. He made an effort to stay away from the neighborhood kids and not become familiar with anyone. Why would he do this? Even he does not know. As a child he grew up hearing stories of the great wars in ages past and longed to fight in them himself. He found most of his passions in reading and writing but knew that in the end a call to action may just be made of him and he then would need to go off and test his mettle in this great world of ours. After his teen years had ended, and his father had passed on, he began operating the farm and allowed for his mother to take over the butcher shop in the city. Edwyn made a considerable fortune doing this. However, after he had made a considerable amount of currency he went off to find his education in one the great abbeys of Pestilles and continues on his path of asceticism. After receiving his education, and reaching his 23 year, he went off on a path looking for something. What he did not quite know, but when he finds it, he will.
