Born on the coast east of Sutica. An only child. His father and mother raised him to the life of a fisherman. Vvaridus found himself, from a very young age, drawn more and more to explore further and further away from home often incurring the wrath of his father. His father would make him mend nets and repair the boat they would use to fish as punishment. Vvaridus quickly grew to love taking the boat out to go fishing on his own if for nothing more than for peace and quiet to reflect on what more the wider world might have to offer.
It was in his teens that Vvaridus met a hired sword who had come from working in Fenn, he showed the young fisherman the attention and care Vvaridus had wished for from his father. The hired sword, by this time known to Vvaridus as Robin, made camp only a few miles from Vvaridus’s family home. Vvaridus taught him to fish and mend a boat and in turn Robin taught him the basics of using a sword and bow whilst regaling him with stories of his travels across Arcas. Robin stayed near for several months, Vvaridus looked up to Robin more than anyone he had ever met. One day Vvaridus went to see Robin after a long day of fishing but he was nowhere to be found, his camp gone and not a scrap of a clue to show where he had gone.
At 29 Vvaridus’s mother and father both passed away. He was now the owner of all their wealth, A boat, an old shack and several fishing rods. Vvaridus tried hard to work as his father had done for a few months after his parents death, but his heart was not that of a fisherman, he wanted more. On his 30th birthday Vvaridus packed a small bag and set off to see the sights of the world that Robin had regaled him with so many years before.
