Lindsey was born on the 14th of The Deep Cold, 1760 in a village near New Resa. Her parents are of mostly southeron decent. Her family practices a mixture of canonism and southeron traditions, such as one where the people would gather together and excite themselves to the point of entering a trance, and spread this out across the local village. Unlike most southeron people, Lindsey never took offense for being called a “farfolk”, embracing it instead. Lindsey’s younger sister, Elsa was born on the 4th of Malin’s welcome, 1762. Their house was attacked a number of times during Lindsey’s childhood, resulting in Lindsey being defensive with her parents. Lindsey did something strange when she was 4. The house was being invaded by 2 burglars, and Lindsey chose to take a stick and slap a burglar several times with it. Said burglar retaliated by punching Lindsey in the face, which would be a serious mistake. Lindsey retaliated-not by crying-but by stabbing a hot coal with her stick and proceeding to slap her attacker with it. Said attacker was badly burned in several spots by the coal. In 1767, when Lindsey was 7, their village was invaded by a large amount of skeletons-at least 40-and 4 people went to attack them, including her father, who would not return. The family would learn 3 days later that he died to a skeleton armed with a sword. Grief struck the family which lessened over the next 7 months. Lindsey would also train in melee and ranged combat during that time. There was further attacks resulting in death for the attackers, and minor injury for the family. When Lindsey was 14, a family pet dies, resulting in about 5 months of grief. Lindsey would remain strong and help her family despite the problems. Shortly after her 16th birthday in 1776, Lindsey would find her village invaded by an extremely large amount of skeletons, about 80 this time. She and about 6 of her friends would defend the village successfully, the combatants mostly sustaining minor injuries.
