Wilson Robertson was born to a poor peasant family in Johnstown. In a town of poor farmers, when Wilson was a young boy, him and his friends would often skip out their chores to go fishing down by the waterfront (much to his parents chagrin). When he was eighteen, he realized that his life would go nowhere if he stayed in Johnstown. To that, he set his sights on the capital city in Haense; Reza. By the time he was nineteen he had finally saved enough money to buy a ferry ticket to take him from the slums of Johnstown to Reza. However, when he arrived, Reza wasn’t exactly the Golden Pillar of opportunity he had hoped for. Wilson decided that he would do what he did best; fish. Unfortunately, Wilson had little professional skill in the field and finding a job was impossible. After a few months of living on the streets with only the bottle for a friend, Wilson met a man on the docks who offered him a job if he cleaned himself up. The man was old and immediately put Wilson to work. And while he earned more and was better off than he was in Johnstown, Wilson found that he had to work very hard to keep his job. Eventually however the two become close and Wilson grew a strong work ethic, with skills to match. Over the years, the man grew older until his eventual retire. The man, satisfied with the man Wilson shaped up to be, left his fishing boat and nets to Wilson, to which Wilson would keep doing what he does best.
