Varen was born in the town of Asimu'lei to a family of hunters. He is the first child and only child of the family. His parents have been hunting in the nearby forests for decades. His grandparents were a part of the Warhawke tribe who eventually moved to Asimu’lei.
Just like his parents, Varen learnt to hunt at a young age and his parents gladly taught him how to do so. Varen also took interest in collecting herbs and making food. He made a couple of friends in his childhood, however, the said friends eventually moved to Renelia together, leaving Varen behind.
So far Varen hasn’t taken part in any kind of education as he has been satisfied with what hunting provides him. While his parents don’t care for their parents’ tribal past too much, Varen himself finds the tribal life somewhat intriguing. In the future, Varen hopes to find his childhood friends in Renelia and he is also keen on learning more about the ways of the Warhawke tribe.
