Odette was a wood elf was born in a small neighborhood, located in the City of Sutcia. She was an only child. She lived there from age 0-11. Once she was 12, her neighborhood was raided and Odette and her family had to evacuate to the Twilight District. Her father was shot while evacuating and didn’t make it, leaving her mother to take care of Odette alone. Her mother used to be a cheery woman, always surrounded by an aura of peace. After the father’s passing she faked keeping up that peaceful aura until Odette turned 14. Her mother would have anxiety attacks but would always make sure Odette wasn’t around when they happened. But her thoughts overflowed, and she collapsed while doing laundry. Odette was hanging up clothes to dry whilst this happened and she turned around to see her mother on the ground, sobbing. From then on, her mother tried her best to keep up her act, but Odette felt bad. Odette saw it as she was the reason her mother had to push herself to her limit every Odette was around her. So, Odette moved out once she turned 17. She’d visit her mother every weekend. A year later, her mother recovered and decided she would spend her days traveling. Odette supported her decision, and that was the last time she saw her mother. Odette is a bit traumatized from witnessing her mother’s panic attack, but she’s glad she moved out to help her recover.
