Puddle Muffins

Stephan was born from a kind mother, and a strong willed father whom has served in the military but now is mainly finding any work he can to pay for his family. For most of his Childhood Stephan, his family, and the people in the village were in fear for their life's day by day from the constant undead attacks. Because of this his father had to train Stephan at a very early age, like most kids whom have lived near there. Stephan's father, Ethan was in the service for eight years involved in few battles and the ones he was in was just to protect their own lands from harm. His mother was a very kind hearted, gentle, and cared a lot for him. His father cared a lot for his son also, but he was much more harsh and showed little compassion. At the age of seven, Stephan's father started to train him by not only exercising but teaching him how to use many different types of weaponry. For these years he lived with the Hanseti settlements, parents being a mix of Haeseni, and kaedrini. Around when he was eleven, the undead launched a fierce attack on the village killing half of the people whom have lived their, destroying/pillaging most of the village. Stephan's mother was badly injured during this attack, living for only two more years until she couldn't hold on to life anymore dying. For the rest of his adolescence his father remained mostly distant, locked up in his room for most of the day weeping, forcing Stephan to do most of the work around the house, harming him sometimes if he think his kid didn't do a good enough job. Eventually, Stephan's father ended up dying from a broken heart around when he was seventeen. After one more year of constant training, he enrolled into the Hanseti military in a four year contract hoping to get at least scraps of food from the major food crisis the country was having. After serving the contract as mostly a peacekeeping soldier, he retired from the military trying to find a purpose somewhere else than the military.

He Grew up most of his life with only a father whom was never home from the constant drafts for conquest from the nation, in which he was mostly only taught war. Because of the harsh life of when he was a kid, him and the other kids didnt make much friends, because they were not taught much in school. Most of Stephans youth was training after helping his father out when he was home with chores. Since he turned 16 he was drafted into the front line infantry. Around when he was 19-20 his country collapsed in on itself from the faulty leadership of the peoples king. For the rest of his life so far Stephan mainly only worked with mercenary groups to get at least a little currency to keep himself alive, for also this is all he knew how to do was fight.
