Raised in the Forest Realm of Irrinor, Cerinus along with his sister, Claudia, were raised by their aunt and uncle (human), Yuna and Tontor. They lived a relatively normal life being raised as normal children in the Wild Faith. One day while they were all out they came home to discover that their house and all of their belongings had been destroyed. All that was left among the rubble was a note, adressed to Cerinus, from “The Cult of The Wild”. Cerinus had preveously attempted to “borrow” some gold from a unsuspecting passerby on the street little did he know that this was one of the head members of the previously mentioned cult. This led to them tracking him down and of course destroying his home. The letter was a simple note “come alone” followed by an address. He did attempt to go alone but his family followed him and on his arrival the cult attempted to make him become a member. Shortly through the the process of attempting this his family had arrived to try to save him. This resulted in their capture. During the process his sister attempts to fight back and is killed. The shock and horror from the moment gives the cult time to knock out Cerinus, Yuna, and Tontor. They are made to be slaves for the group. His aunt and uncle eventually pass to old age and he is left alone he makes one friend during all of this, Claud, who he eventually escapes with. Under the cover of night the manage to escape and set fire to the base the cult was currently at. It is unknown to them if there were any survivors, but it did not matter. Cerinus and Claud parted ways, just to be safe, and from then on Cerinus not only lost his faith in the Wild Faith but also his sense of self. So with that he set off to find a way of life again.
