Fritz was born to two peasants, the youngest of 3 brothers and 4 sisters. His family were but poor farmers, and their lives unremarkable. Fritz however, was always different. While he worked in the fields you could overhear him whistling a tune or reciting a poem. When he turned 13, he could be found at the local tavern, soaking up tales from all who visited, and recounting them for his family around the fire. When he was older, he found himself on the stage of that very tavern, performing for all who came to visit. The coin he made supported his aging parents who were too old to work the farm, and his siblings had moved on with lives of their own. Now at the age of 20, Fritz's parents have finally past, and with no reason to stay in one place Fritz has decided to go off on a journey, in hopes of making a name for himself. That his tales and songs might be told and sung for ages to come.
