Born into an impoverished family, in the southern part of Haense, Aldous was an average child. Left with only his father, Elric, after his mother died during labor. Young Aldous did his very best to help his father and others in their hamlet. Eventually he gained an affinity for hunting and with this, his father, who worked tirelessly to please the lord could rest a bit easier. But sadly rest didn't come soon enough, as he fell ill and passed away, leaving Aldous, who was now a young man, to fend for himself. For years of servitude, the lord gave Aldous nothing following his fathers death. All those years for nothing in return, how pitiful. Aldous vowed he'd never serve a lord like his father, and after a few weeks passed, Aldous joined up with a company of roaming adventurers, venturing away from the hamlet, aimlessly traveling Almaris. Many years have passed by now, and Aldous has turned into a man. With an empty feeling swelling up within him, he left his old company behind and headed to the Holy Orenian Empire. In an attempt to put his past deeds behind him, to seek further meaning in his life, he now seeks out those of the Canonist faith.
