Quinn was always a happy and carefree child, this often got her many friends, her family was joyful, and her tribe lit up whenever she was around. Things took a turn for the worst, however, when her tribe went to war with another. This war devastated her family and tribe, her father passed away and most of her friends were either kidnapped or killed. Throughout the war, and afterwards, Quinn did her best to keep the spirits of her people alive, and attempted to tend to the wounded, but she was often met with disgusted stares and being pushed away. Her cheery attitude was all she knew but it was not what her people wanted. Years after the war Quinn was often ridiculed and exiled from her friends that survived and even her mother despised Quinn for not grieving like the others, despite the many attempts of Quinn trying to explain she was hurting as well. After more time passed Quinn came to a decision to leave her tribe, it was clear she would never be accepted again and she had nothing to lose, besides her mother of course but her mother never forgave Quinn so it was a lost cause. Packing for her new life Quinn dealt with her mothers protest but Quinn did not listen. She got on a boat and traveled, somewhere, anywhere. This is where her journey begins, for a new life.
