Torsten was born in Varhelm as the youngest sibling of two brothers. His Father named Tomlin and his Mother named Astrid Friis. They worked to make ends meet as stable hands and often fell short. His older brother Kiro studied the blacksmith arts and helped make the remaining amounts of money for the family. Wilsons father and mother often pressured him with the Red faith eventually pushing him to secretly hate the faith today. While growing up Torsten often was taken on hunts by his father as Kiro was too busy with his studies. This caused Torsten to not have many friends growing up as he was constantly away. When Torsten was around 12 years old his father told him to go hunt alone and bring back food for the coming week. While out hunting Torsten was met by a large creature he could hardly make the shape of. A large bear struck him across his face and as he ran again crossed his back scaring Torsten. After this event Torsten's older brother always accompanied him on his hunting trips as Torsten was too scared to go alone until Kiro went to school to learn the blacksmith trade. Now 25 Torsten and his brother are setting out for new lives to try to escape the life of poverty.
