Nimera Vesserei Chavagné
Nimera Chavagné was born into a world of unknown, a small home that was placed just on the edge of the Talus Grove. She was the only child of a traveling merchant and a woman with no hope. Her parents, both incredibly lucky to have ever conceived a child in the first place, protected and sheltered the girl for many years. Her time growing up was spent indoors, learning about the world through books her traveling father brought home from far away places, some in different languages that she had never taken much interest in. She valued the books she was given. Her education, spearheaded by her mother; a woman named Adelaide who found little hope in the world around them beyond the small home they resided in; was that of no entertainment, however. Her mother used pessimistic teaching methods, making the child feel small, almost resentful towards throughout Nimera's young life. Adelaide's pessimism and inability to find a positive in life ultimately led to the downfall of the Chavagné family.
A traveling merchant's time is spent mostly alone on the road, with only the animals on the road to speak to. He met a young elf, a no name, and used her company to warm him through the months he was gone. When he returned, he left his wife and his only daughter. His only parting gift to the young child of 16 was a map and a journal, something to keep her thoughts. The news of his unfaithfulness led her mother into a rampage, burning their small home down and forcing the young girl to find refuge in other places. Adelaide- once sound but pessimistic, now unstable and frightful- would be left to rot away in a cell.
The map Nimera's father left her led to a far off city, the Silver City of Haelun'or. Deciding that was the first place to look for her father, she kept the map to herself as she followed the steps to the new land she had hopes for. Finally, she was on the open road... a new beginning..
