Héroldan was born on a farm of the high elves. When his families farm was burned down by the Mori’Quessir in one of their raids and both of his parents were killed, Héroldan fled west.
Eventually he found himself in the lands of Elvenesse, where the wood elves found him. They raised him as one of their own. He grew up in the palace as one of the warriors between the wood elves. This is also where he fell in the river. Héroldan, unlike the other High Elves, didn’t look down on other Elf races, because he knew what the wood elves had done for him. As one of the warriors, Héroldan once has had the honor to guard the legendary Crown of Storms.
Now that he is 18, he has a choice to make, the wood elves asked him if he wanted to stay, serve his lord and make a name for himself, or that he wanted to go and explore the world, maybe even going back to the High elves. Both ways, the Prince assured him that he had a home in Elvenesse.
