  1. Cordelia Mai'un was born in 1700, in Arcas to homeless and impoverished parents. Her father, Matliss Mai'un had generational ties to a High Elf named Velmir Tain. Their ancestors had helped each other's families escape the battling cities during war times and division of Elven lands. Matliss seeked Velmir for a wild favor, to raise his daughter in the security and safety of Haelun'or. Velmir, despite the disapproval of his High Elven society, agreed to raise Cordelia as his own. As Cordelia grew, it was very apparent to her and everyone around her that she was not a born High Elf, and since she'd discovered this about herself, she promised to herself that she would unlock her Wood Elven culture one day and find her parents. As a young girl, she took every chance she got to travel through the forest, foraging and dancing through the greenery. She became very resourceful and knowledgeable of nature. Many neighbors thought of her as dirty or "unladylike" since she also preferred loose fabric dresses and skirts. She didn't make many friends growing up, as she was very different from the young High Elves in her environment. As her natural Wood Elf behaviors began seeping through her growing personality, the disapproval of her neighbors grew larger, however she was endlessly defended by her adoptive father, Velmir, who truly loved her as his own. When she turned 16, she demanded that Velmir enlighten her of her true heritage and family. He told her all about her birth father, who was caring and selfless, he told her of all the favors Matliss had done for him. Her curiosity grew, and she decided when she turned 18 she would travel to the Forest Realm of Irrinor in search for her birth parents. Although she loved Velmir and felt endless gratitude for him, she'd been forced to live an identity of a High Elf and longed for self discovery. Living in Haelun'or as a Wood Elf, Delia was held to incredible expectations to excel in school, personality, and class just as the other women High Elves were expected. Instead of striving for high education and innovation, Cordelia desperately wanted to open her own herbal shop. She wanted to create soaps, jams, herbal remedies, teas, and all sorts of earthly crafts to sell and gift around town. Velmir was supportive of her, but worried she would not receive business or support from the rest of the High Elven society. Her life as an outcast, along with her natural love for Mother Earth further pushed her into the forest where she taught herself to practice Druidism and deeper her understanding and love for the natural world. Delia has a long journey ahead of her, travelling to find her natural calling and her birth father
