Atri was raised in the Orenian Empire, and was the youngest of 5 siblings. Atri's parents didn't pay much attention to their kids and often ignored them. Atri would often explore the city and talk to travlers to learn their stories. When Atri was 15 he met a man from Nordland who told him many stories. The man would tell him of monsters he had slain, and how he was a great adventure that could do anything. these stories amazed Atri, and he was fascinated by the traveler. Over the next year the traveler would meet with Atri once a week and teach him new things. One day the adventure told Atri that he had a quest for Atri that would make him a great adventurer too. He told Atri that a local noble was tainted by an evil necklace, and needed to be saved. So he told Atri to go and steal the necklace to save him. Atri fully trusted the man and went to the nobles house to steal the necklace. He snuck into the house by climbing into the back window, and easily stole necklace and made it outside. he went to meet up with the adventurer who looked very pale and worried. the adventurer quickly snatched the necklace from Atri's hands, and called him a fool. The adventurer told Atri that he was a former follower of the black scourge who was having a hard time making a living. He told Atri that he didn't have the skills to steal the necklace so he had to find someone gullible who could. He than ran off and left Atri alone. Atri was paralyzed with so many emotions and started to cry. He started to walk home when he was halted by guards who arrested under suspicion of stealing the necklace. Atri told them the story of what happened, and the police told him they Knew who he was talking about. The adventurer was a local pickpocket who had been evading the guards for years. since Atri was Manipulated into stealing they gave him reduced sentence of 4 years. In those 4 years Atri's family cisted only once to tell him they didn't want a criminal in the family, and disowned him. When Atri was released he decided he would become a adventurer and take side jobs helping people to earn money.
