Born from an encounter between Katalia Mundi and Egar Jasper, Jasper Mundi is man now in his late 20s, with a strong passion and respect for culture, historical and religious texts, as well as a fondness of all wildlife. The origins of his bloodline and his family heritage comes from a man named Rygurd Mundi, a blacksmith just south of Thales, at least, so that is what he was told. But through the years, war has set the land on fire, has spilled the blood of many, and has left those without a name... forgotten.
Taking many steps into the future, Katalia Mundi, Jasper's beloved mother, was born into a harsh family life, brought up by those with an addictive tendancy to the drink and gluttonous appetite. For though she feared her own, she found herself embracing the world around her, giving her a reason to live and see the path ahead. With even more steps in the future, she was greeted by a young soldier in a local pub/bar(?) named Egar Jasper, whom from the beginning, seemed to be nothing but trouble, as he had plans of his own and no desire to change them to accompany others.
And now, with the final steps into the days ahead, Katalia and Egar grew fond of one another, bringing for into the world Jasper Mundi. For with the birth of his essence, came the abandonment by his bastard of a father. Within days, Egar had left the family behind, continuing down his own road of violence and heavy drinking. But, as dire and as regrettable as the situation may seem to Katalia, she loved her dear child, and was determined to see him survive, to see him happy, to see him have the life that she never would.
His early years were greatly influenced by the lore of books, the stories of kings and queens, of wars and alliances. His fascination evergrowing with the thoughts of what is now, and what could have been. Going into his teen years, he was brought up to explore the world around him, to seek out life and help it along the path, regardless of whether or not the path be burdened by sadness and fear. Jasper Mundi was gifted, or as gifted as one child could be, with minimal options in a poor stricken family.
Into the beginning of his adulthood, he sought the guidance and understanding of a man named Lucius Taeylon, a man believed to be in possession of books of unforseen. But because of the greater difference in age, and the inability to maintain a constant attention to time, Jasper was unable to learn more than the mere grasps of what the past would have been, had the road ahead been shaped differently, not with the hands of those who've seen death, but those who have given life.
But now, with the time that remains, and the years that have passed since his birth, he finds himself alone in this world. Losing the only family he ever knew... his mother. The last person to see his smile, to bring him great joy, and now... to give him nothing but grief. He sets forth down the road ahead, where it will lead him... only time will tell.
