Zestari's life was... fairly simple. There was no drama, no trials or tribulations. She was an only child raised by her father, Aimar Loraynore, and never really knew her mother. The two lived in solitude in a rarely touched part of the forest on the outskirts of Siramenor, and so Zestari never really had any friends. Her only company was her father and a pet fox named "Chrysanthemum" or "Chrys". Throughout her childhood, her father would often teach her about the different patron Manis and what each of them represent. Due to her fathers insistence on the protection of others and both inner and outer strength, Zestari quickly drew close to Bolomormaa, the Bear Mani of Motherhood and Family, and she eventually chose her to become her Patron Mani. From age 1 to 33, she stayed on the outskirts with her father and Crys. Just a few months before her 34th birthday, however, a lightning bolt struck her home during a violent storm, causing the house to burn.. and collapse. Unfortunately, Zestari's father was trapped in the house, and there, she presumes, he perished. Uncomfortable with living on her own, Zestari set out to find a new home with the other wood elves, putting her worry about not being able to fit in and her guilt over the inability to protect her father behind her.
