Nym OakenVale was born to a small nomadic seed. In this seed he learned how to contribute by gathering and hunting. As he grew he was told stories of the elves that came before him. He was told of events such as the finale battle between Taynei and Garthon. He gained a personal view that everyone should be given a second chance despite their past actions. When he was a bit older, around the age of 12 he went with a small group from his tribe to find a new place for their tribe to move to. They managed to gain passage on a small ship that had been passing through. Nym and his fellow seed members earned their keep on the boat by helping with work such as cleaning and cooking. Towards the end of their travel a large storm hit the boat. Massive waves battering them around in the open waters. A large wave crashed over the ship almost pushing it over. This threw Nym and a couple other crew members helping on deck overboard. The boat managed to stay afloat and they managed to pull the crew and Nym from the water eventually making it to safer waters intact. After the event Nym grew nervous being at the mercy of the water. They had only a week's travel back to the land and to their tribe so a member of their seed distracted him from his nerves by telling him stories of the aspects, even claiming that they had seen a wildcat at a shrine of Felixii. They eventually reached land journeying back to their seed. The group encountered a wandering trader on the trip back which Nym bought a long brown coat off of to represent his first real adventure. He continued to keep to his seed until his current age of 23. He has decided he wants to travel to find his place in the world and for an opportunity to see the world.
