As a child, I was always with my brother. I would hunt with him, he would help me with my tasks around the forest and our tiny, insignificant town. However, one day another kid my age was found in town. I became friends with him, and I began to drift away from my brother. As we grew older I was closer to my friend and more distant to my family. But one day I had a nightmare. As I woke up I heard noises from the room next to mine, that being my brother's room. I opened the door and saw a man with a robe that covered all of his body stabbing my brother. The windows were open, and the wind struck down the hood of the robe, revealing the face of my best friend.
The next days I couldn't get out of bed, and by the time I did, my "friend" had already disappeared from town and no one heard anything about him. I couldn't sleep as well in the night thinking about what had happened. I could no longer hunt or work as well.
Years after the event I decided that this couldn't go on like this. As hard as it was to leave the town, I decided that I was to venture into the world to find who had done this. One day I grabbed by hunting equipment, put some gold and clothes in a bag, and, as hard as it was, I left without saying anything, only leaving a note.
"I can't rest. I can't focus. I can't live. I have decided that I will find who murdered my brother. I'll be back. Take care - Irnac"
