Kajsa Aarensdottir was born the second child of her family, sadly her mother died while giving birth to her. This left her with her older sister and her father to raise her. Before she could walk, she was part of the family profession of glass blowing. Although slightly unconventional for her Norlander's, her family excelled in their craft. Most notably her father became quite renowned in their homeland for his skill and precision.
Throughout her early years, she knew a relatively stable yet simple life. Her education added a bit of spice to her life, but not as much as she ultimately wanted. Her bright and friendly personality made her quite popular, she amassed quite a few friends, though she still saw her sister as her best friend, her irreplaceable ally. Kajsa viewed her family's craft as a respectable profession, rather than an anchor keeping her held to her hometown. Kajsa never kept herself to a specific religion, however occasionally she would pray to the allfather, just to see if she would recieve some divine intervention in her time of need.
After the death of her father, Kajsa was shattered. The concept of mortality had never been fully contextualised for her, and now it was being thrown in her face. She pleaded with her sister to get them out of there, to find them a better life. Their home reminded her too much of her father. Once her sister was gone, she stayed behind for a few weeks before ultimately deciding to follow her. Her sister still doesn't know that she's following her trail.
