Boe grew up with loving parents but his father would leave for long periods of time, traveling as a worker with merchant caravans. His mother tried her best to provide but it was tough not having a father there to show him how to care for himself and be a real man. He lived in a small cottage outside of a Adelburg. Mom said we lived there because there were good job opportunities for his father. Ever since he was a young boy Boe was unhappy. Being different from the humans around him left him feeling alone. Even when a human was kind he took it as pity. Growing up hearing tales of adventures and heroes traveling across the land he knew what he had to do. He wanted to make a name for himself. If he became an adventurer then he could not only make a living doing exciting work, he would also be an example to all the other so called Andunians who may feel the same as him. Not to mention it would let him see the world and get away from the nearly exclusively human settlements. Boe left home at the age 21 to make a name for himself. Filled with nothing but confidence for him self, Boe will almost certainly have. a much harder time on his own than he anticipates.
