As a young man Elidyr never wanted a fancy home or large amounts of money as some pursued. He found peace in nature, amongst the trees and animals he lived most of his days. Like most wood elves he was raised to admire and respect all life, but not all believed the same. There were other races, humans, and orcs that hurt, burnt and destroyed more than they built and grew. Elidyr knew even as a young man this was wrong. It hurt to watch life be pulled from things without a purpose. This desire to stop all pointless death drove him to adulthood. Most other things fell away including his relationships. He had a sense of urgency but they didn't understand. Family meant so much to wood elves and to him it did too, but no one saw it the way he did. The moment he turned 18 he set out on his own, realizing his life was beyond his home. He was needed for more. Years have went by now and he still finds himself alone, but now seeking companionship and a new desire; life. Life in a new way.
