Aspen was born into a Heartlander family in the Kingdom of Norland. She gained a high education and by the age of 12, she fell in love with writing thanks to the Kingdom of Norland’s encouragement of the arts. Aspen loved the way excessive writing earned her a callus on her ring finger and the way the pages absorbed her tears. Her notebook soon gathered many observative journal entries about her life or places she’s travelled. Then at 16, her journal became full of stories about a boy she found herself in love with. As the years went by and their relationship grew, Aspen heard more of this concept that she’ll soon be working in a domestic role. This left her confused. He explained to her, Heartlander culture is putting women in domestic roles, especially for a pretty lady like Aspen. She became infuriated at the thought of her writing being downplayed simply because of her gender. It scared her. Her clear solution was to travel and do everything she’s ever wanted to do.
