Born to a simple and humble family of highlanders near the city of Varhelm, Castor would be brought into the world with no riches or great destiny awaiting him, not that it would trouble him later in life. During his childhood years, he would be living the simple life of any other boy living on the outskirts of the capital, his father, Vedrick's craft being that of a woodcutter. Castor would help around the house with chores, helping his mother Priscilla by tending to the small garden outside of their small cabin and their hens. Although he did not enjoy the privileges of the aristocracy, he was always content with the love he received from his family and the bonds he formed with the members of other clans. Albeit ever too innocent to find love, Castor occupied himself with following in his father's footsteps during his teen years, also developing an affinity to sculpting small figurines out of the wood he would chop and with Vedrick's aid, fiddling with other simple carpentry tricks until his skill would be on par with that of his mentor during his late teen years. As the years went by, life seemed to stagnate for Castor, not that he would have time to think much about destiny or other philosophies that he could not be bothered to deal with due to his dilligence in the work he would put in in order to secure his parents a "comfortable" life after he would leave to build himself his own cabin somewhere else, as it has always been in Castor's family tradition. As he would sit by a very old oak tree in the middle of a field close to some of the fields the other family estates were cultivating on, Castor would be struck by the thought that the Sun, in all of it's magnificence had to be involved with the divine for why else would the rays fall so lightly and warm on his face. Faithful as our Castor ever was, he put himself to work and offered his parents a parting gift which would seem rather strange, a sculpted piece of wood depicting the Allfather holding a sun above his head. Not thinking much about their disoriented looks, Castor offered them the news that he would soon take up his axe and look for his own sun somewhere else, a warm and gentle place to settle as his predecessors did before continuing their family tradition of humbleness and love for nature, faith and community.
