In his childhood Johnny was a timid yet kind child, even adopting a wild mouse and naming it Danny. He was scared of his father and tried to live up to his expectations. He idolized his big brother and wanted to be like him, but when he had died falling from a horse which was seemingly startled by Danny, which he had set free days ago to avoid having to drown him as his father wanted him to do, Johnny became guilt-ridden, believing that his brother's death was his own fault and that he should have died instead. He then believed throughout the years that Fate itself was taking revenge on him for his crime and that every misfortune he received was in fact deserved, like the accident which cause him to be paralyzed from the waist down.( i could not find the lore snice the wiki can not be accessed to)
