Born and raised in a small farming town, Raul was born to 2 Farfolk parents and 2 sisters. Luis Flores del Rio, Isabella Maria Vega, Lupe Flores-Vega, and Juana Flores-Vega. Early years were tough on him and his sisters, waking up early each morning to work the lands with their parents until afternoon. Spending most of his time with his father working crops and animals, Raul begin much closer him which made Luis' death even more painful. During a raid on the town, Luis was disemboweled and left die during the raid. After the raid and learning of his father's death, Raul withdrew into himself. Blaming himself for now having gone with his father to fight them off and instead hiding in the house with his mother and sisters. Years after the death of Luis' death, Raul met a young girl who slowly became closer and closer to him. Eventually forming into a short lived relationship which ended in her stealing multiple items and taking some of the last few remaining items from his father. Inturn, withdrawing into himself and blaming himself even more. Some years after that, Isabella would pass away from sepsis from an untreated gangrenous wound after being bitten by an animal while trying to fight it from the crop field. Causing him, Lupe, and 2 other young townsfolk to move to Savoy in search of better jobs and living spaces to support those back home.
