Birth (0-5)
Of course, Ophélie does not recall her birth, nor much related. Though she does know that this was a key point in the downfall of the relationship aspect of her life. Not long after her birth was she left to her own devices; with a mostly absent mother, and no father figure. This kickstarted her yearn for approval from an extremely early age, at only a few years old. Staying in a relatively isolated, harrowing home resting in the southern lands now belonging to Savoy. For this portion of her life, Ophélie was never near enough to any neighbours, or an academy; rendering the first few vital years of her life in near solitude.
Childhood (6-13)
Having moved from her previous location by this point of her life, and among a few others, young Ophélie had many individuals around her, though couldn't seem to get very far with them friendship-wise. Not only was she sticking out like a sore thumb, but she also just didn't seem to enjoy the company of the other children. By this point, her reclusive nature seemed to start blossoming; finding her sat alone under the shade of a large oak, flipping quite contentedly through a thick book, or investigating some interesting looking wild herbs and plants, also oft finding interest in the lore of the canonist faith and its teachings. Her mother, noting her forming independent attitude (considering she was mostly fending for herself by this point, with her maternal figure more or less overseeing, or not being there altogether), took this as a sign to further discipline and shape Ophélie into the daughter she initially expected to have, further distancing her from her mother.
Teenage (14-18)
After relocating once more from her third childhood home - though this time to escape the generally quite depressing affairs of her younger years, her mother had just recently passed around her 16th birthday. Although not aware of this initially due to her unknown location, and near full abandonment of her daughter, Ophélie wasn't too affected by the news a year or two later. By this point she was living on her own, and fending for herself with part-time nature related odd-jobs that gained her a few coin. This was roughly when her recluse mindset was in full swing, and she was quite content in the self-assured delusion she had concocted. With her vile mother no long being in the picture, in a new location with new people and things to divulge in, it was fairly easy for her to adapt to this new skewed self image.

Ophélie's relatively mundane, yet tragic childhood comes to fruition at this section of her life, where she is currently. Though the underlying issues and trauma persist, it isn't shown, and is /extremely/ rarely spoken of, if at all. She's quite content spending her days in her current residence doing what she enjoys.
