Born in Oren, Lerin is the son of a soldier (his father): Tarin and a farmer: Leya. He spent his childhood in a farm trying to learn how to read and write; so he stolen a book from a noble child and he met a wizard who was friend with the family who helped him to grow his writing skills. But his childhood wasn't so beatiful, the father doesn't never return from an expedition and the last thing that the little Lerin remembered of him is the argue that he has with his mother Leya. Lerin was growing and Leya was aging and she wasn't very happy about his son because Lerin joined a group of bandits and even Lerin wasn't happy because he wanted something more, he wanted to lead. So he waited until the chief of his group, Turk, did a wrong action: he ordered to kill to show no mercy to all even if they will be innocent women or children and to bring all the rewards of the raid to him. For Lerin the task wasn't so scandalous but for many was so he decided to use his leadership to guide a revolt, it was pretty easy and everyone got his part of reward and the Turk's head was on the ground. The sense of lead someone was untradable everyone went on his path and was the last time when he saw some of his friends. Leya was happy that his son was no longer in the group but his happiness was interrupted by a disease; she was buried with a very simple, perphaps too simple, funeral; there was only a few friends and someone ready to take the family's right on the farm. Lerin doesn't want this funeral for him he wants greatness and now without significant friends or real start points he is ready to follow this path
