Monnir was born to his Mother(Erren) and father (Fenro). Erren died during Child berth to Monnir and nothing could be done to save her. Monnir had a fairly happy childhood living in his village until he was 8 years old. when he was 8 a forest fire raged through the village killing everyone in the village apart from Monnir. Monnir witnessed the death of many of the people he knew and loved. Monnir was found days later by other woodelves who were coming to trade with the village.
they found the boy in a stupified state not able to communicate with them just starign off into the distance. The traders took the boy back to there own village where over the next few years until he was 12 they slowly teased Monnir out of his shell as much as they could.
Monnir did open up but only to a select few people, that being Qinnan, a hunter in the village and a older women called Genmyar. Qinnan started to teach the boy hunting skills and archery, aswell as other essential skills for foraging and living alone for weeks in the wilds. Genmyar was the village healer, often treating Monnir's wounds when he got into fights or got injured whilst he was training, Genmyar was also his Foster mother or sorts being the one he's go to when in need of comfort.
Monnir only had a basic education, learning letters and numbers from Genmyar when she was taking inventory of her medicines. Monnir is a firm believer in Elnarnsae'ame often finding a grove to meditate in or visiting a shrine of the aspects.
