Aleija was raised alone in Lubba’s Keep, a territory in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, long may it stand. She grew up hearing stories of Old-Sutica, a place she had never known, legendary for its merchants and safe-haven. Though she suffered from painful arthritis in her hands and joints, she found that there were other ways of making coin without having slippery fingers - over time, Aleija developed a silver tongue of sorts, telling stories from reality and imagination, capturing an audience of any who would listen. Surely, her stories were only as grand as a child could create, but she was filled with a burning passion for more. Aleija never knew of her parents growing up, which didn’t mind her much; she saw the Eternals, the Titans, and the Bondsmen of Lubba’s Keep as role-models enough, learning the foundations of trust and honor through their examples.
