Radcliff never met his parents. He was founded somewhere in the kingdom of Oren by a mercenary called Marlow who took him in and who tought him the only thing he knew, how to survive and fight. After years of very hard training from Marlow; Radcliff was finally ready to join Marlow in his field of work. When he turned 20 he got his fist job. They were to escort a very important merchant. Everything went as smoothly until they were ambushed by bandits. During the fight, Marlow got severely wounded by bandits and Radcliff saw that and he tried to go to him but he got slammed in the head and knocked out by someone's elbow. When Radcliff came to, he stood up as quickly as possible but one of the the people from his mercenary group said that his father was killed and that they got betrayed by Jerrit, who was hi best friend. Radcliff didn't know how to react, the fact that he lost his father and that his best friend betrayed them for potentially bigger coin. They finished their job Radcliff decided to go on and do jobs on his own, and he decided to expand where he would do jobs. Not just in Oren but also in other kingdoms.
