Born and raised in the comforts in the Barony of Artois, Claudius would seem to have a priveleged childhood. Despite his status, he was taught from a young age to be humble and modest. His patience came from the fact that he had six other siblings. Being the third oldest, he had to sometimes take initiative and raise them himself in order to relieve stress from his mother. With the fall of Orenia, Claudius and his family retreated to the quaint Barony which was originally their home. He quickly found the countryside to be boring and uneventful, he spent most of his time farming or practicing martial arts from old scrolls imported from what used to be Yong Ping. Eager to explore and see the world, Claudius frequently departs from his birthplace to explore the lands of Almaris in search of knowledge.
