Scamelot

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "I wasn't aware I was expected, but the Creator tells us to respect our elders." Airi says with a raised eyebrow. After settling into an awkward position on the cushion, Airi clears her throat. "Well, I've come to this swamp in search of an orchid I hear grows around here, I'm trying to come up with a new cocktail for my family's tavern, and some of the local women wanted something 'exotic', whatever that means." Airi lets out a short laugh, smiling at the elderly woman. "The petals of the orchid are supposed to make a wonderful perfume, and I wonder if I can capture some of those floral flavors in a liquor. I've already got a honey wine, a pork skin brandy, and a bright-fruit moonshine for the tavern. If I ever want to open my own tavern I should push my boundaries, right?" At this point Airi notices the soon-setting sun, realizing she has rambled on about her family's tavern for far too long. "Oh shoot! You will have to forgive me for leaving so soon, but if I don't get those orchids by tonight, I'll be late in getting home! I wouldn't want to make Dad worry about me again!" Airi departs quickly into the evening, looking for exotic orchids, dreaming about all the drinks and dishes she will serve at her future tavern. Hopefully the journey back to Sedan will give her the inspiration she's looking for.
