You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” As he steps into the tattered tent, a mix of curiosity and caution fills him. He nods politely and takes a seat on the cushion, attempting to conceal the nerves that flutter within him. With a deep breath, he begins recounting his journey to the swampy town. "Since I was a child, I've always felt a burning curiosity that led me to explore the world around me," he says, his eyes meeting the old hag's gaze. "Growing up in a small village, my family regaled me with tales of far-off lands and mysterious places." The flickering candles cast dancing shadows on the tent's walls as he continues, "I've dreamed of distant horizons, of venturing into the unknown to discover what lies beyond the familiar sights of my upbringing." His excitement grows as he shares his yearning for exploration, the thrill of stepping into the wilderness, and the mysteries that beckon. There's an unspoken connection between them, as if the old hag understands the longing in his heart that brought him to this peculiar place. It's like the old hag knows the very essence of his being, and it sends a chill down his spine. As he wraps up his stories of childhood curiosity and family tales, the tent falls into silence, with only the distant croaking of swamp creatures breaking it. The old hag leans in, her voice low and raspy, "You seek answers and truths hidden from most mortals, don't you, young one?" Her words hit the mark, and he nods with determination, aware of the risks that lie ahead. "I'm prepared for whatever challenges come my way," he replies, trying to steady his voice. A toothy grin spreads across the old hag's face, sending another shiver through him. "Very well," she says. "I shall aid you in your quest, but remember, knowledge comes with a price. Are you willing to pay it?" Without a moment's hesitation, the character answers, "Yes, I am ready to pay any price to gain the knowledge and understanding I seek." The old hag's eyes seem to pierce his very soul as she leans back, her gaze intense. "Your determination is admirable, young one," she murmurs. "Remember, the journey you seek is not just about uncovering ancient secrets, but about discovering the truths that reside within yourself. Go forth with an open heart and a discerning mind." With those enigmatic words, the old hag's presence seems to fade, and he finds himself alone in the dimly lit tent. The weight of her words lingers in the air, leaving him both intrigued and contemplative. As he steps back out into the world, he carries with him not just the anticipation of adventure, but a newfound understanding of the significance of his own inner journey.

I sit down, looking deeply into her eyes, confidently I say "My name is Astra, those who know me definitely do. I've come to this town looking for the thing" Unknowing what I look for, I try my luck with a big shot, to see how the old lady reacts. One thing that I'm certain about, my confidence will not let me down.
